Corporate Design – Key Elements of the POWER-E-COM Visual Identity (Deliverable D6.2)

This article summarises the essential components of Deliverable D6.2 “Corporate Design”. The document defines the visual identity of the POWER-E-COM project and provides all partners with the logo files, colour codes and official templates for consistent project communication. The full deliverable can be downloaded below.

Deliverable D6.2 presents the corporate design framework for POWER-E-COM. It ensures that all project communication—reports, presentations, letters, event materials and online content—is visually aligned and clearly recognisable as part of the LIFE-funded project.

1. Purpose of the Corporate Design

The deliverable explains that the objective of Work Package 6 is to “increase the impact of the project by building an image, raising awareness, increasing knowledge and influencing attitude by means of communication”. A consistent corporate design plays a key role in achieving visibility and recognisability.
Templates and design elements help ensure that all project outputs follow the same visual identity and LIFE branding rules.

2. POWER-E-COM Logo

Two versions of the official POWER-E-COM logo were created:

  1. Logo with project slogan
  2. Logo without project slogan

Both versions are available on the project’s file exchange platform in three resolutions: 72 dpi, 150 dpi and 300 dpi, allowing partners to choose the appropriate quality depending on print or digital use.

The colour codes used in the logo are:

  • Light Orange: RGB 247 / 178 / 30
  • Dark Orange: RGB 247 / 148 / 30

The deliverable includes the official logo images (see Figures 1 and 2 on page 6).

3. File Templates

The deliverable outlines the official templates that all partners must use for project communication and reporting.

Report Template

The Corporate Design deliverable itself is an example of the official General Report Template.
It contains multiple stylesheets, with the most relevant POWER-E-COM stylesheets starting with “P-”.
The only exception is the stylesheet named “Standard”.
A graphic overview of all stylesheets is provided in Figure 3.

Slide Templates

Two types of first slides have been designed:

  • Version 1: includes the logos of all project partners
  • Version 2: space provided only for inserting partner logos depending on the event

Following slides come in several layout variations, including:

  • Title and content
  • Title with two content sections (comparison layout)
  • Title with SmartArt graphic

These templates support partners in creating professional, coherent presentations for workshops, conferences and stakeholder events.

4. Availability and Use of Templates

All templates—letters, lists of participants, workshop reports, meeting minutes, and PowerPoint slides—are available on the project’s file exchange server.
The deliverable emphasises that these templates must be used in all official project documents to ensure uniformity and compliance with LIFE visibility rules.
Templates will also be provided in the respective national languages.

5. Conclusion

Deliverable D6.2 defines the visual identity of POWER-E-COM and provides all tools needed to ensure consistent and professional communication across the entire consortium.
The corporate design elements—logo, colour palette and templates—form the basis for recognisable project communication and strengthen the visibility of POWER-E-COM at regional, national and European levels.
