POWER-E-COM has published its final project newsletter, marking the close of three years of work on renewable and citizen energy communities across six European countries.
The newsletter looks back at the joint Final Conference in Brussels with sister projects DISCOVER and ISLET, presents the seven Energy Community Transformation Offices now operating in Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia and Spain, and highlights two of the 30 business models developed during the project — REC Ennstal in Austria and REC Rivas Vaciamadrid in Spain.
It also shares the project’s key lessons for building lasting energy communities and recommendations for policymakers.
